Julius Maranze Papers
The Julius Maranze Papers deal with the legal disputes surrounding Dayton’s Old Courthouse and Cooper Park, resulting from the manner in which the properties were conveyed by Daniel C. Cooper in the early 19th century. Julius Maranze and his wife Pauline were leaders in the efforts to preserve the Old Courthouse and Cooper Park.

Gary Pacernick Papers (MS-582)
This collection contains correspondence, publications, and paperwork documenting the career of Jewish poet and Wright State University English professor Gary Pacernick. Pacernick was one of the early members of Wright State’s English department faculty, serving from 1967 to 2009. Prominent in the collection are letters to Pacernick from poets and writers nationwide and worldwide.
Dr. Richard A. DeWall Papers (MS-584)
The Dr. Richard A. DeWall Papers contain material from Dr. DeWall’s lengthy career. Within the collection there are copies of publications, patent documentation, and presentation slides created by Dr. DeWall. The material mostly relates to Dr. DeWall’s invention of the bubble oxygenator. However, there are some materials from his efforts to create a medical school at Wright State University.

The Elizabeth Beck Rehling Papers consist of correspondence, research notes, and photographs related to her research on the relationship between her mother, Agnes Osborn Beck and Katharine Wright, sister of the Wright Brothers. It also includes her unpublished manuscript, The Third Wright Brother, about Katharine Wright, based on her memories as told to her by her mother Agnes and her own research.
Laurence P. Richmond Papers (MS-594)
The collection consists primarily of information on the development of radio technologies at General Electric in the 1920s and of radio and radar technologies at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base from the 1930s through 1950s. Some information on the WPAFB Quarter Century Club is also included.
Dr. Russell Barnard Duplicate Marriage Licenses
This collection consists of duplicate marriage licenses for marriage ceremonies performed by Reverend Dr. Russell D. Barnard, pastor of First Brethren Church in Dayton, Ohio. Most, but not all, licenses are from Montgomery County, Ohio.
