Individual 2 ¼” x 3 ¼” black and white portraits of 234 members of the Dayton Cooperative High School graduating class of 1941. Principal Clare Sharkey and Class Advisor Ruth Werst are also included.

Abstract This collection consists of over 2000 cubic feet of photographs, negatives, and news clippings spanning obituary, personality, and subject files generated by the Dayton Daily News and the former Journal Herald in the twentieth century. The newspaper was founded by James M. Cox, a three-term Ohio governor and presidential candidate. Scope and Contents

Photograph album of an unknown Dayton family, depicting family life and a parade in Dayton. The location appears to be where Sinclair Community College is now located, as some photographs have Sacred Heart in the background.

Abstract

The collection contains several hundred film negatives, as well as a few photographs and slides, featuring images of burned out buildings, fire damage, and derelict structures. The photos were created by the Dayton Fire Department during the course of investigations. Some content may be considered graphic.
