Area Progress Council Records
The Area Progress Council was formed in 1961 with the common concern for the progress of the Miami Valley. The Council was instrumental in the establishment of Wright State University and its medical school. This collection contains administrative materials, primarily meeting minutes, presentations, reports, and correspondence; and financial records, including budgets and annual financial summaries.
Challenge '95 Papers
This collection documents the Challenge ’95 Project of Wright State University’s Center for Urban Planning and Public Affairs. It includes minutes, reports, forums and surveys from various subcommittees. Directories and Correspondence are also of interest to the researcher. There also is media with this collection including still photographs, audio and video of the sessions that took place from 1989-1991.
Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission Records
The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) has served the planning needs of the Miami Valley in Southwest Ohio since 1964, serving as the common ground where area partners come together to work toward a shared vision across the Region. The MVRPC is one of Ohio's Special Taxing Districts, created for operation of a specific public purpose and typically funded through a tax levy.
