Heinrich Gunermann Album
The collection consists of one photographic album that depicts Gunermann's early flying career, parachuting, flight school and barnstorming. It provides valuable insight on the aviation community in pre-Nazi and early Nazi Germany. Most of the photographs in the collection are identified and dated (1918-1936).
Aloys J. Wyen Papers
Aloys J. Wyen was an early aviation pioneer associated with the Wright Brothers, first in their bicycle shop in Dayton, and later at Huffman Prairie as a mechanic. He was with them at Belmont Park in 1910, then flew in Los Angeles, California from 1911-1916. He later worked as a mechanic with the WACO Aircraft Company in Troy, Ohio, and Aeronca in Middletown. His papers include family photographs as well as correspondence and photographs documenting his long career in aviation.
William C. Lambert Papers
Papers include correspondence, photographs, drawings, and printed materials pertaining to Lambert's military service as a World War I flyer. Also included is a copy of Lambert's manuscript relating his combat experiences.
Katharine Wright’s Correspondence with Agnes Beck (SC-97)
The collection consists of eight letters written by Katharine Wright, sister of Wilbur and Orville Wright, to her close friend, Agnes Beck. The letters discuss Wilbur and Orville Wright, their flights, the Wright Family, and other personal matters.
P. H. Richardson Wright Field Photo Collection
The Richardson Wright Field Collection contains 172 photos of aircraft and aircraft parts. The majority of the pictures feature displays from the Armed Forces Day Air Show held at Wright Field in 1945. Many of the exhibits pertain to Luftwaffe aircraft captured during Operation Lusty. As well, there are many photos documenting the only Fairchild powered XAT-6E Texan produced.
Maj. Blanton NASA Patch Collection
This is a collection of NASA patches that focuses mainly on the space shuttle program until 1995. As well, there are other NASA, military, and novelty patches. The majority of the patches are marrowed-edge construction.
Cleveland Air Races Collection
This collection contains photos of the 1929 Cleveland Air Races and souvenir programs from the 1931, 1932, and 1934 Air Races. All items are copies of the the originals.
