Abstract

Collection contains some materials which pertain to the National Special Libraries Association, however, most material deals with the activities of the local Central Ohio Chapter, previously named the Dayton chapter. Included are chapter by-laws, minutes, workshop and conference reports, bulletins, financial records and printed materials.

Springfield Chamber of Commerce booklet contains information regarding the history, architecture, businesses, schools, organizations, government, agriculture, manufacturing, and residential area of Springfield. Also includes photographs and drawings of Springfield landmarks and a listing of businesses and advertisements. Published circa 1924.

Abstract The St. Elizabeth Hospital Records document the growth and expansion of the Franciscan Health Network in Dayton. The hospital was established in 1878 and founded as Dayton's first community hospital by the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor. Expansion and construction began in 1882 and continued throughout the hospital's existence. The collection includes photographs and negatives documenting this development overtime.
