Oregon Historic District Society Records
The Oregon Historic District Society was formed in 1973. The constitution for the society reads, in part, "To create a sense of community; to help make neighborhood life secure and comfortable; to establish an atmosphere in which to live, work and recreate ourselves." This collection contains administrative paperwork, photograph slides, compact discs, DVDs, newspaper articles, tour pamphlets, maps, licenses, permits, zoning issues, parking issues and neighborhood rehabilitation plans.
Kent Organ Dayton School Desegregation Papers
The Kent Organ Dayton School Desegregation Papers consist primarily of the final report of the Ad Hoc Committee to the Dayton Citizens Advisory Board on the Dayton School Desegregation Plan. The report was submitted to Judge Carl B. Rubin in August 1977 after being approved by the Dayton Citizens Advisory Board. Kent Organ was chairman of the Ad Hoc Committee.

Osborn Removal Company Records
Herbert C. Osborne Papers
Osborne held a variety of engineering positions at McCook Field in Dayton from 1918 until 1924. His papers include diaries covering the years 1922-1923, photographs taken while he was working at McCook, and a few miscellaneous papers about his career up until 1927. The diaries record his daily activities at the field and at home, and the 79 photographs include images of aircraft, dirigibles and individuals.
James F. Overholser Papers (MS-5)
Papers include a diary and letters which recount the personal experiences of Civil War Private Overholser who served with General Sherman on his March to the Sea. Overholser enlisted with Company D, 81st Ohio Volunteer Infantry. The collection is available online at http://corescholar.libraries.wright.edu/special_ms5/ .
Gary Pacernick Papers (MS-582)
This collection contains correspondence, publications, and paperwork documenting the career of Jewish poet and Wright State University English professor Gary Pacernick. Pacernick was one of the early members of Wright State’s English department faculty, serving from 1967 to 2009. Prominent in the collection are letters to Pacernick from poets and writers nationwide and worldwide.
Pamphlet Files (PAM)
The Pamphlet Files consist of brochures, flyers, newspapers clippings, booklets, reports, serials, and other ephemera documenting the history of aviation, the Miami Valley, and the Wright Brothers. The items’ intrinsic values render them unsuitable for individual processing or formal cataloging; however, they are retained primarily for their informational value.
