Abstract

The John Pirelli Lodge was a chapter of the Società di Mutuo Soccorso (Sons of Italy) established in Dayton soon after the death of its namesake Giovanni “John” Pirelli. The collection includes planning and finance information, officer lists, rules and rituals, general histories, newspaper clippings, photographs, and oral histories.

Abstract Ivonette Wright Miller was a niece of Wilbur and Orville Wright, the daughter of the Wright Brothers older brother, Lorin Wright. The collection consists of materials about Orville and Wilbur Wright, the Wright Family, and early aviation collected by Ivonette. Richard Fullerton Photographic Collection

Abstract This collection consists of over 2,000 photographs and negatives collected, and in some cases taken by Richard Fullerton, who spent his career in the photography laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Robert Henn Aerial Slide Collection (MS-613)

Scope and Contents

Robert Henn was the pilot for WHIO Airscout and WING Skywatch from 1980-1995. The collection consists mainly of aerial photographs (all 35mm slide format) of the Dayton metropolitan area, including especially Trotwood, Brookville, and downtown Dayton. Photos (non-aerial) of aircraft on display at the Dayton Air Show are also included. Most slides are identified at the item level by the creator, with a description and date written on the slide.
