The collection consists of a single card, with a wood chip ("a true piece of the First Airplane Hangar in the World," i.e., the Wright Brothers' hangar at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina) affixed to it, along with a reproduction photo of the hangar.The card reads: "Birthday Greetings and Souvenir of July 18. [photo] THE FIRST HANGAR - KITTY HAWK. A true piece of the First Airplane Hangar in the World. [wood chip] 1898 - MY GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY YEAR - 1948. May you have Golden Days, too!...
