Scope and Contents Wilbur F. H. Bigelow, Sr., was a foreman in the Mill department of Dayton-Wright Airplane Company factory at Moraine (Plant 1), during World War I. The collection consists primarily of 28 photographs, most of which relate to Bigelow’s work at the factory, including DH-4 aircraft, employees and factory scenes, air demonstration shows, and aerial photographs captured during a test flight. The collection consists of a single metal badge/pin (believed to be copper). The front of the pin includes an image of a biplane, the text "The Dayton Wright Airplane Co. Dayton Ohio," and the number 15046 (presumably an employee identification number of some kind). The item measures approximately 1-1/2 inches wide by 1-1/8 inches tall.
