The Inland Children’s Chorus was sponsored by the Inland Manufacturing Division of the General Motors Corporation from 1936-1970 and open to children (ages 8-16) of Inland employees. The Chorus was a unique contribution by American industry to young people, the community, and the performing arts. The Ivan & The Sabers / The Lemon Pipers Collection contains materials collected by Ivan Browne (chiefly photographs and press cuttings) during his career as a musician with both bands. Ivan & The Sabers were a Dayton area rock band active from1961-1966. They opened for the Rolling Stones at Dayton's Hara Arena in 1964.
