Abstract

The Dayton Bicycle Club Records consist of primarily financial records and receipts from the club from the early 20th century. The collection contains receipts from around 500, mostly local, businesses that provide an important record of how business was conducted around the turn of the 20th century. Also included is a limited amount of correspondence relating to club business and the organization of bicycle races.

Abstract The Woodland Cemetery Collection contains materials relating to the organization and business ventures of the Woodland Cemetery Association. Materials such as organization histories, rules and regulations, meeting minutes, financial records, and correspondence provide a history of the organization while documents such as interment and cremation records provide insight into the function that the cemetery plays in Dayton, Ohio.
