The Milton Caniff VIP File focuses on photographs of cartoonist and Dayton native Milton Caniff, as well as a photographs of Caniff's parents John and Elizabeth, who lived in Dayton.

The Mike Peters VIP File consists mainly of photographs of Dayton Daily News editorial cartoonist Mike Peters, as well as photogrpahs of Peters' former Beavercreek home and some other Peters-related items. There are also a few of Peters' original pen-and-ink sketches depicting "Southern Scenes". The file includes several photographs from 1981, when Peters won the Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning, and in that same year he also performed at a Dayton Ballet fundraiser.
