Account of Wilbur Wright's Flight at Le Mans (SC-223)

Scope and Contents This collection consists of two copies of a translated account of a 9 year-old French boy who was present at a demonstration flight that Wilbur Wright did near Le Mans, France in 1908. The translation is an extract from “Journal of a Child of the Belle Epoque.” The journal is a manuscript of Roger Verdier who wrote of his account.
