On Feb 8, 2011, Erica Terrill interviewed Shawon Gullette, a local salon owner and community leader, for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview, Shawon discusses how she founded the Hope for Hair Foundation, which provides wigs for people who have experienced hair loss due to cancer, alopecia, or other hair loss related to disease.

On March 16, 1997, Liza Sizemore interviewed Cecilia Ann Osborne for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview, Cecilia discusses what life was like growing up and living in several small Ohio towns between the 1930s and the 1970s.

On February 9, 2011, Ashley Robbins interviewed Cathy Sayer for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview, Cathy discusses her career as a faculty member and instructor in Wright State University's Department of English, and her efforts as a pioneer in the service-learning concept, helping students to meet their learning objectives through the purposeful integration of community service into their course work.

February 16, 2011 Janell Tebbe interviewed Angela Addington, director of Hannah’s Treasure Chest, for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview Angela discussed her family history, community involvement, and the founding of Hannah’s Treasure Chest.

On March 13, 2011 Anna Carrera interviewed Khadijah Ali, program coordinator and co-found of Circle of Vision Keepers, for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview Khadijah discussed growing up in Dayton, Ohio, her work in ex-offender advocacy, and the founding of Circle of Vision Keepers.

On March 13, 2011 Anna Carrera interviewed Mary Anne Angel, co-found and co-director of Two Trees, Inc., for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview Mary discussed experiences growing up in the Appalachian region of Southern Ohio, the founding of Two Trees Inc., and the impact of her work.

On March 5, 2011 Adam Masonbrink interviewed Doug Axe, a highly active and engaged member of the St. Mary’s City community, for a class project dealing with oral histories and capturing the history of the Miami Valley. During the interview Doug discusses his life, variety of jobs, and involvement in his local community.

On March 1, 2003 Jodie Walker interviewed Katherine Backherms-Thornton, a housewife and mother of six children, as part of the requirement for the Miami University Oral History 685 Course and the Miami Valley Cultural Heritage Project. During the interview Kay Backherms-Thornton discusses her two brothers joining the army and the navy World War II, her marriage, and more.
