Rose Mary Lawson interviewed Eugene Krauss about his life before, during, and after World War II. In his interview Krauss begins by detailing his family history and childhood in Hungary and moving to Budapest to become a teacher. Throughout the interview he discusses becoming a forced laborer, the brutality he witnessed, and the awful conditions that he endured.
