Scope and Contents
The collection consists primarily of Administrative Records, Correspondence, and Inter-Union Affiliations. The arrangement is chronological within the various folders.
Series I, Administrative Records, includes the minutes (incomplete set with dates ranging from 1948-1974, including a large gap from 1950-1962) and records of various administrative committees. Records in Series I date from 1930-1974
Series II, Correspondence, includes letters and literature from the International Union and various organizations and individuals. Records in Series II date from 1927-1976.
Series III, Inter-Union Affiliations, deals with various labor organizations and councils that were associated with the I.S.E.U., Local #55. Records in Series III date from 1925-1975.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
The collection was donated to Special Collections and Archives, Wright State University Libraries, by the Ohio Labor History Project, in October 1978.
