Scope and Contents
The Concordia Lutheran Church in Cincinnati was created from a merger of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Emmaus Evangelical Lutheran Church in 1927. The Emmaus Church had originally split from Trinity in 1904 over internal disputes. This collection contains five volumes of church records including a history of the church (1849-1949) and an early listing of members as well as records of baptism, confirmation, marriage, and funerals. All records are written in German until 1924.
