Dr. Albert Franklin Sarver was born on September 3, 1888 in Darke County, Ohio and died July 31 1976. He served as a medical officer in France during World War I in the American Expeditionary Forces, reaching the rank of First Lieutenant. During that time, Dr. Sarver kept a diary of his experiences, which documents his experiences.
