It Happened on Maple Street Book (SC-253)

Published in April 2011, It Happened on Maple Street is the true-life love story of USA Today bestselling author Tara Taylor Quinn and her husband, Tim Barney. The two met while attending college at Wright State University in the fall of 1977. The book chronicles their story and is signed by the authors.

Also included are exhibit text panels from the exhibit and book signing hosted by Special Collections and Archives in April 2011 as part of National Library Week “Create Your Own Stories.” Copies of some photos and news items from the University Archives concerning Tim Barney’s activities with the WSU tennis team and an article from the Dayton Daily News collection written by Tara Taylor Quinn, who worked as a special writer for the DDN during that time, are also included.
