Immediate Source of Acquisition
This collection was purchased by the Wright State University Libraries' Friends of the Libraries, in memory of Ivonette Wright Miller (1896-1995), niece of the Wright Brothers.
Separated Materials
In addition to the three photographs, the Friends of the Libraries also purchased a monograph by aviator and engineer, Grover Loening as follows:
Loening, Grover. Takeoff Into Greatness: How American Aviation Grew So Big So Fast. New York: G.P. Putnam’s Sons, 1968.
The book can be found in the Archives and Special Collections with the call number HD9711.U6. 1968 and is autographed by the author.
