Laurence P. Richmond Papers (MS-594)
The collection consists primarily of information on the development of radio technologies at General Electric in the 1920s and of radio and radar technologies at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base from the 1930s through 1950s. Some information on the WPAFB Quarter Century Club is also included.
Ellis Wright First Flight Anniversary Scrapbook
Scrapbook of newspaper clippings, programs, first day issue Wright Brothers stamps, invitations, and photographs documenting Ellis Wright’s participation in the 45th anniversary of the Wright Brothers first flight at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, on December 17, 1949. Ellis Wright was a first cousin to Wilbur and Orville Wright.
Wright Aeronautical Corporation Binder
The collection consists of the cover and spine from one Wright Aeronautical Corporation binder. The binder is labeled “Services Lectures: Wright Aircraft Engines, Paterson, N.J., U.S.A.” and includes the Wright Aircraft Engines logo.
Lt. Bennett C. Simmons Drawing (SC-306)
Collection consists of one oversize pencil portrait drawing of Lt. Bennett C. Simmons, a B-17 Bombardier-Navigator, Army Air Corps, WWII. The drawing was created by renowned portrait artist William Van Dresser at Boca Raton Field (Florida) in 1944.
Thompson's Malted Milk Aviation Prints (SC-310)
The collection consists of 15 Aviation Prints that were distributed by the Borden Company’s Thompson’s Malted Milk product, circa 1930-1940. Each print has a large picture of the plane on one side with related diagrams and data on the other.
Albatross D. Va No. 7161/17 Fabric
This collection consists of a piece of the original fabric from the Albatross D. Va No 7161/17, a WWI German fighter aircraft restored and exhibited by the National Air and Space Museum. The fabric is mounted, along with an image of the airplane and a brief description.

John Houser Aviation Prints
The collection contains three different sets of aviation art prints collected by John Houser: 10 prints from the Phillips Petroleum Company Historical Aviation Reprints of WWI and WWII aircraft, circa 1960s; 4 prints from the Edo Floater Collector Series depicting floatplanes from 1929 and 1933; and 42 offset lithographs of WWI planes and pilots from the Leach Corporation Heritage of the Air Collection copyrighted from 1959-1969.
Roger Miller Aviation Slide Collection
The collection consists primarily of color slides depicting aircraft, mostly civilian planes at air fields throughout the Miami Valley, with the bulk dating from 1959 to 1988. The slides were in most cases created, and in some cases collected, by Roger Miller, an aviation enthusiast and local historian from Middletown, Ohio.
General Motors Aeroproducts Division Plant Blueprints Collection
The collection consists of large blueprints of structures and systems at the General Motors Aeroproducts Division plant located in Vandalia, Ohio. The majority of the blueprints date to 1940-1941, but later blueprints reflect the plant’s subsequent iterations as GM Allison Division, Inland Division, and Delco Products.
