Biographical / Historical
David Procuniar was a member of the Ohio Volunteer Infantry in both the 50th and 61st regiments. He fought at several major battles and died at camp in 1864. David Procuniar was born in 1839 in Mad River Township, Montgomery County, Ohio. He died of dysentery at Camp Dennison near Cincinnati in June 1864 and is buried in Dille Cemetery on Valley Pike in Dayton, Ohio.
