McCook Field Resignation Form (SC-265)
This collection contains the official War Department form approving Domnick Greco's resignation from his position as a laborer in the maintenance department of McCook Field in 1923. Included are details such as his pay, the quality of his work, and the dates of his employment.
Henry Busch Photographs (SC-266)
This collection contains photographs (originals and reproductions/photocopies) depicting Brookville, Arlington, and downtown Dayton, Ohio, most dating around 1914, though some are as late as 1960. This collection consists of eleven 2-3/4" x 4-3/4" black and white photographs documenting the overnight stop at McCook Field of the Douglas World Cruiser "Around the World" Flight in 1924. The photos are dated September 13, 1924 and were taken by Donovan Berlin.
Doolittle's Raiders Photos (SC-284)
This collection consists of three photos; two are reprints of Doolittle's Raiders taking off from the deck of the aircraft carrier, USS Hornet (CV-8). The other, larger, photo is a copy of Bud Golem's painting Memories which depicts the inside cockpit of a Doolittle Raider on takeoff.
Einar Kverne Aviation Print (SC-285)
Collection consists of one Einar Kverne print reproduced from his painting entitled We. The print depicts Charles Lindbergh flying across the Atlantic in 1927. The painting and print were completed shortly after Lindbergh's historic flight.
