Dayton Women's Health Center Records
Dayton Women's Liberation Records
Records consist of a fairly complete run of the organization's newsletter which gives information about the group's meetings and activities and includes short articles discussing the politics and ideology of the Women's Movement. In addition, the collection contains leaflets, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and other printed materials.
Dayton-Wright Airplane Company Badge Pin #15046
The collection consists of a single metal badge/pin (believed to be copper). The front of the pin includes an image of a biplane, the text "The Dayton Wright Airplane Co. Dayton Ohio," and the number 15046 (presumably an employee identification number of some kind). The item measures approximately 1-1/2 inches wide by 1-1/8 inches tall.
Dayton-Wright Airplane Company Photographs
The collection contains 156 large format glass plate negatives and 63 nitrate negatives depicting factory workers, interior and exterior plant views, airplane assembly, and completed airplanes from a Dayton manufacturer of World War I aircraft.
Dayton-Wright Company Record of Employees (SC-150)
The collection consists of seven Dayton-Wright Company "Record of Employee" envelopes spanning the period 1922 to 1924. Each envelope provides the following information: name of the employee, address, marital status, age, person to notify in case of emergency, date of employment, department assigned, foreman of the department, rate of pay, and class of work. Inside the envelope are pay slips and other information about the employee, including the reason for termination.
Dayton YMCA Records
The Dayton YMCA Collection contains items pertaining to the history the Dayton area YMCAs. Administrative papers, newspaper clippings, and photographs constitute the bulk of the collection.
Delco Light Frigidaire Convention Badge with Ribbon
This collection contains a single metal badge with red ribbon. The badge is inscribed with the words “Delco Light Frigidaire Convention, 1927.” The ribbon was owned by H. H. McLellan, who sold Delco Light plants in Nebraska. He received the ribbon when he attended the convention in Dayton.
Delco-Moraine Employee Sports Scrapbook (SC-283)
The collection consists of one scrapbook chronicling the Delco-Moraine Plant's intramural sports events in 1946. The scrapbook is made up entirely of newspaper clippings.
The scrapbok also contained a small employee photo of Arnold Rike and a clipping from 10/24/1973.
Delphinium Garden Club of Dayton Records
The collection includes minutes, reports, notes, program information, newspaper clippings, and photographs from the Delphinium Garden Club of Dayton, Ohio. These items were collected by members of the Delphinium Garden Club of Dayton and document the organizations history, activity, and community involvement from its creation in 1931 until 2012. The club is still active in the community today.
Dr. Richard A. DeWall Papers (MS-584)
The Dr. Richard A. DeWall Papers contain material from Dr. DeWall’s lengthy career. Within the collection there are copies of publications, patent documentation, and presentation slides created by Dr. DeWall. The material mostly relates to Dr. DeWall’s invention of the bubble oxygenator. However, there are some materials from his efforts to create a medical school at Wright State University.
