Scope and Contents The Michael Caporale Photograph Collection consists of 356 photographs collected by Michael Caporale. The collection is close in provenance to MS 271, the Peerless Mayfield Collection. Many of the images in both collections are similar subjects and clearly come from the same sources. The Dayton Bicycle Club Records consist of primarily financial records and receipts from the club from the early 20th century. The collection contains receipts from around 500, mostly local, businesses that provide an important record of how business was conducted around the turn of the 20th century. Also included is a limited amount of correspondence relating to club business and the organization of bicycle races.

Eleven volumes of scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, follow the history of the Dayton GEMS professional hockey organization in Dayton, Ohio as a new team in the IHL (International Hockey League) in 1964. Edgar "Lefty" McFadden was instrumental in starting the team, and served as general manager. There is information about players, trades, media coverage, fans, statistics, league standings, etc.

Scope and Contents

The collection consists of one scrapbook chronicling the Delco-Moraine Plant's intramural sports events in 1946. The scrapbook is made up entirely of newspaper clippings.

The scrapbok also contained a small employee photo of Arnold Rike and a clipping from 10/24/1973.

Explorer Post 72 was chartered in November 1958 by the First Presbyterian Church in Fairborn, Ohio, and was active until 2002. From 1971 onward, the group was coed, and members engaged in a variety of camping trips, outdoor activities, sports, and social gatherings.
