Schenck Family Papers
Neal V. Loving Collection
Neal Loving, recognized as one of the "African American Pioneers in Aviation", was a renowned airplane designer and an aerospace engineer at the Flight Dynamics Laboratory, Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Dayton, Ohio. The collection contains papers, photographs, and blueprints of Loving's designs, including his WR-1 midget racer named "Loving's Love".
Louise Kennedy Collection
Louise Achey Kennedy was a prominent member in Dayton society during the late 19th and early 20th century. She was a charter member of the Jonathan Dayton Chapter of the DAR, and a genealogical researcher. The collection consists of personal correspondence, travel souvenirs, religious pamphlets, photographs, and miscellaneous ephemera from the late 1880s to the early 1900s.
Marguerite Parrish Papers
Charles M. Austin Collection
The Charles M. Austin Collection documents the results of Mr. Austin's extensive research on African-American history in the Miami Valley, and particularly in Dayton and Montgomery County, Ohio. His papers include recorded speeches, interviews and articles.
Dayton Area Nutrition Council Records
Collection consists of various financial records such as Treasurer's reports, bank statements, and proposed budgets. There is also internal correspondence, which includes meeting agendas and minutes, letters, and handouts.
Herbert C. Osborne Papers
Osborne held a variety of engineering positions at McCook Field in Dayton from 1918 until 1924. His papers include diaries covering the years 1922-1923, photographs taken while he was working at McCook, and a few miscellaneous papers about his career up until 1927. The diaries record his daily activities at the field and at home, and the 79 photographs include images of aircraft, dirigibles and individuals.
Harland B. Cushman Papers
Papers consist of letters written to Cushman by his fiance, Stella Kline, who worked at McCook Field from 1919-1921. Letters contain mostly personal and family information, but also discuss events and people at McCook Field during the period.
Frigidaire Historical Collection
Collection contains a wide assortment of materials concerning the activities of the Frigidaire Corporation in the Dayton area. Included are materials pertaining to the history of Frigidaire, product manuals and literature, promotional materials, company publications, photographs of executives, plants, and products, clippings, scrapbooks, audio tapes, and films.
Frank Krebs Collection
Frank Krebs was a successful Dayton businessman, who was also politically active. Between 1942-1945, Krebs served as the Mayor of Dayton, and throughout his life held various political offices. The collection consists of personal correspondence, mayoral related materials, newspaper clippings and photographs.
