Scope and Contents
Liberty Engines and fuselage of the De Havilland DH-4 at the Dayton-Wright Airplane Company. Liberty Engines sit on pallets and are lined up in the foreground with Dayton-Wright Airplane Company employees standing nearby. In the background the fuselages for the DH-4 can be seen lined up with the space open for the engine to be installed. Employees from the company can be seen throughout the photograph taken circa 1918. United States flags can be seen hanging from the rafters. A sign hanging on the wall reads "Do not spit or throw tobacco in this location."
