Kettering Home - Ridgeleigh Terrace (Oversize), 1963
Scope and Contents
The Charles F. Kettering and Family VIP File includes photographs of Charles F. Kettering, his wife Olive, his son Eugene and Eugene's wife Virginia Kettering, and Eugene and Virginia's son Charles F. Kettering, II. The majority of the photographs pertain to Charles F. Kettering.
The largest groupings of photographs are from Charles F. Kettering's birthday celebrations in the 1940s and 1950s. These celebrations often included hundreds of guests, many of whom were among Dayton's most prominent citizens of the time, including Orville Wright, Edward Deeds, Stanley Allyn, and others. There are also several photographs of Kettering receiving awards and of Kettering's 1958 funeral.
