These items were collected by members of the Delphinium Garden Club of Dayton and document the organizations history, activity, and community involvement from its creation in 1931 until 2012. The club is still active in the community today.
Dr. Richard A. DeWall Papers (MS-584)
The Dr. Richard A. DeWall Papers contain material from Dr. DeWall’s lengthy career. Within the collection there are copies of publications, patent documentation, and presentation slides created by Dr. DeWall. The material mostly relates to Dr. DeWall’s invention of the bubble oxygenator. However, there are some materials from his efforts to create a medical school at Wright State University.

Ermal C. Fraze, Dayton Reliable Tool Company Records
Ermal C. Fraze was the owner of Dayton Reliable Tool Company and the inventor of the early versions of Pull-Tabs and Pop-Tops. This collection includes newspaper clippings, magazine articles, scrapbooks, correspondences, photographs and personal items. Most of the collection pertains to the Dayton Reliable Tool Company. A few items deal with the Fraze Pavilion, a 4300-seat outdoor amphitheater in Kettering, Ohio, named after Ermal C. Fraze.
