Bergen Hardesty Aviation Collection
Bergen Hardesty (1915-1994) was a trained draughtsman and as a hobby built realistic model airplanes. The Bergen Hardesty Aviation Collection contains extensive research and accurate drawings on a large variety of aircraft focused on World War I and II military aircraft. The collection also contains many aircraft photographs, along with negatives, blueprints, correspondence, histories of WW I aviation units, newspaper clippings, and photograph albums.
Paul Katz Papers
The collection consists of materials relating to Katz's long career as a musician, composer, teacher, and conductor. Katz organized the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra in 1933 and held the post of Musical Director until he retired in 1975. Papers in this collection include personal correspondence, conductor scores, photographs, clippings, speeches, and articles by Katz. Also included are audio recordings of performances and interviews by Dr. Katz and his wife Phyllis Katz.

Emphasis is on the 1940s through the late 1980s.

This collection contains a celebratory booklet published in 2003 to honor the pioneers of Italian Aviation. Written in Italian, the book provides a brief history of early Italian aviation and aviators. It also includes commemorative stamps issued to honor Italian aviation.

This collection of over 4,000 aviation postcards was collected and organized by Colonel Wayne Pittman. It contains postcards of commercial and military aircraft, along with airport buildings and locations from around the world.
Bruno Porta WWII Photographs (SC-304)
The collection consists of 13 photographs depicting Benito Mussolini, Erwin Rommel, and other Italian and German military officers in North Africa in 1942-1943. Lieutenant Bruno Porta was an Italian Army officer in WWII. Porta later gave the photographs to his friend Richard Dawson, who served in the 415th Night Fighter Squadron.
