Mildred Baker Papers

The collection contains records of the West Carrollton Reading Club, in which Mildred Baker was an active member. Baker retained records from the organization including the original constitution and bylaws, as well as, the minutes for board meeting on January 8, 1895. She also photographed parts of the 1913 Dayton flood recovery and a tornado that hit near Ann Arbor, Michigan. Examining the Mildred Baker Papers, researchers can gain insight into life in Dayton and the surrounding area at the turn of the 20th century.
