A collection of portraits, snapshots, tintypes, ambrotypes, carte de visites, stereographs, and glass negatives from an extended family in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Subjects include family groups, the Carr Nursery, Antioch College, and a set of autographed portraits and faculty at Ohio Wesleyan College in the 1870s.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
The photographs date back to the mid-1800s. The photographs are fragile and need to be handled with care. Please wear gloves when handling photographs that are not in plastic protective sleeves, photo albums, cased photographs, and glass plate negatives. Most photographs have been sleeved.
Processing Information
The collection was arranged and an inventory created most likely in the 1980s. The collection was rehoused and a full finding aid written in October, 2014 by Samantha Green and Toni Vanden Bos.
