Scope and Content
The Delphinium Garden Club of Dayton is a collection of material documenting the history, administrative and community activities of the club within Dayton, Ohio. The collection includes minutes, reports, notes, program information, newspaper clippings, and photographs. It is arranged into three series.
Series I, Administrative Records, consists of meeting minutes, notes, and financial records that document the history and community activities of the club. Also includes awards, member correspondence, and various garden publications. An area of interest is the Delphinium Garden Club Minutes and minutes contained in the red and black ledger book as these contain minutes, brochures, and pamphlets related to club events.
Series II, Community Involvement, is comprised of reports and notes of the Delphinium Garden Flowers Show and a variety of other garden club associations around the state of Ohio.
Series III, Photographs, consists of images of club members, flower displays, and club activities.
