The collection contains a scrapbook featuring newspaper clippings (articles, photographs, and advertisements) reporting the impact of the 1937 Ohio River flood on Cincinnati, Ohio, and surrounding areas in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. It also contains a special edition Cincinnati Times-Star newspaper about the flood.

The American Association of University Women (AAUW), Xenia, Ohio Records document the efforts of this local women’s organization. The branch was formed in 1948 in hopes of broadening the opportunities of women in universities. A Dayton native, Barrett was a toolmaker, technical writer, teacher, and political activist involved in labor organizing in the Miami Valley area. He also founded and directed the Labor Studies Department at Sinclair College. His papers include materials pertaining to his labor organizing efforts, his newspaper editorials, music he composed as well as his drawings and poetry.
This collection contains materials assembled by the Belmont Bison (High School) Alumni Association, Dayton, Ohio, covering the history of the school, focusing primarily on student and alumni activities. The majority of the collection is comprised of photographs and slides, but also includes newsletters and newspaper articles along with award plaques and miscellaneous memorabilia.
The scrapbook contains approximately 62 original photographs depicting the Lincoln Airplane and Flying School in Lincoln, Nebraska; the Fairchild factory at Hagerstown, Maryland; as well as scenes at Niagara Falls and Dayton, Ohio.
