K.S. "Slim" Lindsay "Quiet Birdmen" Book
The Quiet Birdmen Book contains 640 photographs of "Quiet Birdmen" members displayed on 160 pages. The Quiet Birdmen is one of the oldest continuously functioning aviator organizations in existence, with its roots in the 1920s. Included in the book are photographs of such pilots as H.H. "Jimmie" Doolittle, E. E. "Pop" Cleveland, Roscoe Turner, Walter R. Brookins, Wiley Post, E.V. "Eddie" Rickenbacker, and C.A. "Slim" Lindbergh.
Neal V. Loving Collection
Neal Loving, recognized as one of the "African American Pioneers in Aviation", was a renowned airplane designer and an aerospace engineer at the Flight Dynamics Laboratory, Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Dayton, Ohio. The collection contains papers, photographs, and blueprints of Loving's designs, including his WR-1 midget racer named "Loving's Love".
