Dayton Alpha Phi Alumnae Collection

Abstract The Alpha Phi sorority was first created at Syracuse University on October 10, 1872, to provide a "tie which unites, a circle of friends" for women young and old all around the world. The Dayton Alumnae Chapter was officially founded on January 4, 1956. The chapter exists to this day as a form of contact for the alumnae in the Dayton area. Contains a fairly complete run of minutes for the years 1866-1968 as well as legal reports, financial ledgers and journals, membership records, correspondence, and a variety of printed materials.
