The Dayton and Montgomery County Bicentennial Commission was organized into three major committees: Heritage ’76 for historical projects, Festival U.S.A. for present day projects, and Horizons ’76 for future projects. This organization, along with the papers of the central administration staff makes the records of the commission fall naturally into four series.
