Included within the books are the prices and items purchased by the customers during this time period.The owner also documents charges for performing contract building work and cartage fees to and from Hamilton, Ohio for customers. There are also notes in book 2 concerning the deaths of one of the customer's family and the swearing in of a Captain in 1847....
