Abstract

The Yellow Springs Community Council (YSCC) was an umbrella organization under the United Way of Dayton. The United Way of Dayton would allocate money to the YSCC and, in turn, the YSCC would disseminate that money to the smaller non-profits in Yellow Springs. Materials include bylaws, meeting minutes, financial statements, balance sheets, funding requests, and both internal and external correspondence.

Abstract

The Young Women's League of Dayton was founded in 1898 by former members of the local YWCA. It's purpose was to "promote the moral, mental, and physical welfare of young women" and its activities supported young working women in particular. Records include minutes, financial records, publications, correspondence, scrapbooks, photographs, and materials pertaining to the League's operation of a boarding house for young women.

Abstract This is a collection consisting mainly of scrapbooks covering the chapter's activities from its beginning in 1966 through to the present. Included in the scrapbooks are programs, photographs, certificates, clippings from newspapers and magazine articles, as well as correspondence.
