Abstract

The Public Opinion Center Records contains surveys conducted in the Dayton area between 1970 and 1975. The breadth of the surveys is wide covering topics on schools, government, housing, health, and a number of other social, political, and economic issues. Some surveys contain the full raw dataset while others in the collection are summaries compiled by the center for public release.

Abstract The collection includes correspondence, photographs, scrapbooks, financial records, membership lists, administrative documents and obituaries. Most items were created by or about the Quarter Century Club members. These individuals were civilian or military personnel in an agency of the U.S. Department of Defense for at least 25 years and worked for a portion of that time at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Scope and Contents

The collection consists of digital photographs of all surviving, visible gravestones at Old Greencastle Cemetery, located at South Broadway and Miami Chapel Road, Dayton, as of February 2019. The photo documentation project was undertaken by local Boy Scout Stephen Quick as his Eagle Scout service project.

Abstract

Vicki and the Rest, formed in 1964, was Dayton’s first all-girl rock band. The collection consists of a band jacket worn by founding member Frances (Davis) Razor, a memoir written by another band member, and 3 vinyl albums from other musicians.

Abstract This collection consists of the glass plate and film negatives of an internationally known Dayton photographer, an associate of Steiglitz and Steichen, and one of the first professional female photographers in the United States.
