Dayton-Montgomery County Bicentennial Commission Records
Records document the official plans for celebrating the 1976 Bicentennial in the Dayton-Montgomery County area through minutes, correspondence, clippings, organizational papers, publications, broadsides, and working papers.

Dayton Music History Project Records (MS-607)
The Dayton Music History Project is an effort of Special Collections & Archives at the Wright State University Libraries to document, preserve, and provide access to the history and culture of Dayton’s vernacular and pop music scenes, including but not limited to Jazz, Blues, Rock, Punk, Funk, R&B, and Alternative music that have thrived locally in Dayton over mid-to-late twentieth century. The collection consists primarily of oral history interviews with local musicians.
Dayton (Ohio) Fire Department Negatives (MS-532)
The collection contains several hundred film negatives, as well as a few photographs and slides, featuring images of burned out buildings, fire damage, and derelict structures. The photos were created by the Dayton Fire Department during the course of investigations. Some content may be considered graphic.

The collection contains the records of the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance, an entity which was formed in 2012 to merge the management and business operations for three of Dayton's large performing arts organizations: the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, Dayton Ballet, and Dayton Opera.
Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Records (MS-314)
The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra was founded by Paul Katz in 1933. It is recognized as one of Dayton's oldest and longest standing cultural institutions. The records of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra document the organization's history from founding to the recent past. Emphasis is on the 1970s and 1980s. This is an ongoing collection. The collection is rich in brochures and photographs, programs, administrative records, and marketing material.
