Beginning in 1880, Pastor Johannes Vos recorded events pertaining to people in Fairmont and Lick Run in the early church books for both this church (originally named Washington Evangelical and Reformed Church) and for the Martini Church (see MFM-54). He was pastor for both churches during their early years.
