In addition to the telephone pole lines, the photograph shows: a rural view of an area at the north end of Shroyer Park neighborhood in Dayton, with a dirt road and several large buildings, some of which appear to be farm buildings or barns. The Dayton State Hospital Receiving Hospital occupied this approximate location on the west side of Wilmington south of Beckman for a number of years.
