In addition to the telephone pole lines, the photograph shows: West Dayton residences, businesses, automobiles, and several pedestrians. A church is on the right (west) side of the street, and a building on the left side features advertisements for M. Stone, Gravel, Sand, & Cinders, as well as Laurel Butter Crackers.
