Scope and Contents
Barbara Turoff interviewed Hannah Northway about her life before, during, and after World War II. Northway begins her interview by talking about meeting her husband and his family and how she came to Yellow Springs, Ohio. She also talks about her early memories of when Hitler came to power and how that affected her everyday life. Towards the end of the interview Northway discusses her feelings about the United States entering the war and how her early childhood experiences may have impacted raising her children.
