Julie Orenstein interviewed Bernice Muler about her life before and during World War II. In her interview Muler discussed her early life in Tomashant, Poland, her family history, and her religious background as a child. She also details her religious education and her exposure to multiple languages spoken at home. Towards the end of the interview Muler talks about the beginning of the War in 1939 and the impact that had on where she was in Poland at that time.
