Julie Orenstein interviewed Ben Muler about his life before, during, and after World War II. In his interview Muler discusses growing up in Vilna, Poland, his parent's occupations, and his family history. He also talks about leaving Vilna to escape the oncoming Germans, how his parents refused to come, and the conditions as he and his friends crossed into Russia. Towards the end of the interview Muller also talks about coming to the United States and his eventual arrival in Dayton.
