Scope and Contents
Ann Hurst interviewed Ruth Feist about her life before, during, and after World War II. In her interview Feist discusses her early childhood in Mannheim, her arrival in the United States, her family's religious practices, and other family history. She also details how her family left Germany at different times and through a variety of different European countries. At the end of the interview Feist recounts her education in the United States, getting married and having a family and moving to the Miami Valley.
