During the interview Mrs. Erman describes her childhood in Dortmund, Germany as well as her Polish heritage and family history. Because of a variety of laws and hostilities a direct route wasn't possible so she ended up traveling to Palestine by way of Poland, Russia, and Turkey before finally arriving at her destination.
