Military Rosette

Scope and Contents
This collection contains a rosette which is a device worn in the button hole of a civilian suit to denote the wearer as a recipient of a particular honor. This rosette is marked “Made in France” and probably dates to the 1930s. It is believed to be the rosette for the Order of the World War, a society medal indicating service in World War I.
